The wait time to get seen in the E.R. is RIDICULOUSLY long! Took my husband in and waited over 4 hours to be called back to a room and in those 4 hours only one other person was called before us. There was a lobby full of people, I can only image how long they were there after us. Once in the back room it took another hour to get the ball rolling on what they needed to do....wth are you people doing back there that takes so long??! I didn't see but 2 rooms that had patients in them out of the 10 they had available. Next time we will take our chances and go to Baylor in Fort Worth. If it's life or death, only go to Azle if you want to die, cause you could just waiting.

I was seen in the ER today and had a good experience for having to go to the ER. The wait was not terrible and the nurses and doctor we very nice and caring.

The people who check you in are wonderful and so are the nurses, BUT Dr. Blaine doesn't care about any patient that he sees. I went in for hard painful knots on my armpit. He literally just glanced at them and said he would give me a prescription. I mentioned that I have also been feeling dizzy lately and my legs and arms have been falling asleep even when there is no constricted blood flow. He laughed and said talk my primary care physician about that. Basically he is lazy and didn't want to look further into it. I feel like I should have just made the drive to Ft. Worth. I don't know why they would even call me back if they where just going to treat my like a joke and not examine me properly and throughly. I will be contacting higher up.

When we went in, the nurses were very polite and my husband got seen in a timely matter, but I wasn't very impressed with the doctor, he acted like he really didn't want to be there. The admitting clerk came in to have us sign payments and take payment, but later she came back after they were admitting my husband and told us that we would be getting our payment back since he was getting admitted to the hospital. It had been almost two weeks and still hadn't got the refund, so I called and they told me that he wasn't admitted, that he was there just for observation and that we wouldn't be getting our refund back until they heard back from the insurance company, and if we had a balance. The point is, they shouldn't tell you one thing and then when you call to found out about it, and get told a whole different story, that is misleading.
